Checking your public IP through our lookup service.
Your public IP is the address websites see when they receive this request. Its location is based on IP geolocation databases and does not indicate your device's precise location. After connecting to a VPNZU route, check again to see whether your public IP has changed to the selected location. Geolocation databases can take time to update, so the reported location may differ from the route name.
ISP usually refers to the network provider or organization associated with an IP address; it does not indicate connection quality. “Proxy detected” shows only a status explicitly returned by the lookup service. If no status is available, the page will say so rather than infer one from the IP or ISP. This status alone cannot determine whether a connection is secure.
This page checks the public IP used for web requests. It does not read DNS resolvers, and a public IP alone cannot reveal whether DNS is leaking. To check your DNS path, compare your device or browser's DNS settings before and after connecting to a route, then use a trusted DNS test to verify which resolvers actually respond.
Focus on whether the responding resolvers match your expected network setup. If your browser uses its own Secure DNS setting, it may not follow the system's DNS configuration. Check the browser and system settings separately. If they don't match, review your client’s DNS configuration, reconnect, and test again.
We don't log the results from this page. The lookup sends a request to our service, and the page displays only the fields returned. Copying happens in your browser. If the service is temporarily unavailable, the results card will say so instead of showing a made-up address.
